You haven’t practiced yoga until you’ve been on the mat in our Okotoks yoga room.  A truly beautiful space, our yoga studio boasts Infrared Heating Panels and a beautiful salt lamp wall.



Salt lamps are said to provide health benefits because they are “natural ionizers,” meaning they change the electrical charge of the circulating air.  They work by pulling in particles – attracting allergens, toxins, and pollutants to their surface; and releasing negative ions – which can boost mood, improve sleep, ease, help people with asthma breathe better, and clean the air. UPCOMING YOGA WORKSHOPS AND SERIES

Join Brittany for a 3hr Aerial Yoga workshop to inspire and empower girls aged 14-16 to gain more confidence and trust within themselves and within each other. Brittany has designed this workshop to be supportive but fun and engaging. They will be moving through an introduction to the silks, getting comfortable with standing postures, leading up to exploring “flying postures”. In between there will be time for journaling to explore how the girls are feeling and some introspection, the workshop will end with savasana in the silks and a guided relaxation visualization.

Join us for a series of six classes specifically designed for the changing needs of your body and mind during pregnancy.

Prenatal yoga provides an opportunity to develop greater awareness of your body, deepen your relationship with your baby, increase energy levels, and flexibility. Gentle postures and breath work will help you grow calm and confidence as you prepare for labour and childbirth. Soften into relaxation postures designed to relieve lower back pain, ease tension, and release stress. Come and embrace your pregnancy among other women in a beautiful, supportive environment.

Please bring a towel, water bottle, and yoga mat if possible.  Space is limited to abide by COVID distancing requirements.

No previous yoga experience is required, and can be taken at any stage of pregnancy.

Through movement, breath and relaxation, mini yogi’s develop self-confidence, self-control and self-awareness. Starting them young on the mat gives them the foundation for a strong mind and body. This workshop introduces the basic postures and concepts of yoga and mindfulness in a fun and engaging way that encourages self-expression and builds social skills. Children will learn how to develop strength, flexibility, and coordination. They will learn positive breathing and relaxation techniques to deal with day to day stresses.

Join a community of fellow mom’s and babies and enjoy a practice designed to help you reconnect with your body and ease the transition into motherhood. This unique class combines yoga and play to get back in shape while strengthening the bond between you and your infant. Benefit from postures specifically tailored to your needs as a new mother.

All non-mobile babies (pre-crawling) are welcome.  Space is limited to adhere to COVID distancing requirements.

Vinyasa, or flow, is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. This foundational 4 week series is for people who have active lifestyles, and want to learn how to practice yoga safely, strongly, and effectively. You’ll learn the essential poses and techniques, while still experiencing movement and flow. Great for beginners looking to play with rhythm and pace safely on the yoga mat! Also great for anyone looking to slow it down and get back to basics.

This 4 week program is designed to support active people in their active lifestyles. The focus is on reducing tension, increasing mobility, and realigning, lengthening and strengthening the spine, as well as building deep core strength.

Critical Alignment Therapy (CAT) is a highly effective way of working with injury, pain or poor physical movement patterns. It is a beneficial practice that will help to reduce pain from repetitive strain injuries, back injuries, postural pain and discomfort. It is also a great practice to increase and maintain general physical wellness and sports performance.This series will focus on the spine and related musculature, and includes a spinal strap for you to take home for the month. You will find that as you begin to release the tension in the muscles surrounding the spine, the effects will extend outward to the rest of the body.
