What if I’ve never done spin before?
Thanks for trying your first class with us! We’ll take good care of you. Arrive 20 minutes before your first spin class to allow us to give you the VIP treatment. You’ll get a personal tour, shoe and bike fitting and we’ll answer all your questions.
The great thing about all our classes is that you’re encouraged to make it “your ride”. Our classes accommodate all levels. We set the class and encourage you to work within (okay, maybe a bit outside) your own limits. In spin, you set your own bike tension. Your instructor and fellow club riders are right there with you, sending you a whole bunch of positive vibes.
Where are you located?
We’re located in Southeast Calgary, in the Lake Bonavista Promenade, right by the lake on 755 Lake Bonavista Drive SE. The best entrance is the door on the east side of the mall, closest to Acadia Drive. Enter near the Liqour Depot and you’ll see us right there on your left.
Where can I park?
The entire mall is surrounded by ample free parking.
How do I register?
What should I wear to class?
We recommend athletic clothing including shorts or fitted pants for spin. Rental shoes are included in your spin registration, but if you prefer to wear your own, by all means do so. Our bikes allow for both Shimano and Look shoes, with KEO clips.
What else do I need to bring to class?
A water bottle, towel (unless you want to rent one from us), and your smile.
What kind of bikes do you use?
Our bikes are the best! These Schwinn bikes are belt driven but are designed to ride and feel like you’re on a road bike. We’ve ridden them all and our bikes definitely passed all the tests.
What’s your cancellation policy?
You can book classes up to 3 weeks in advance and cancel up to 2 hours before your class for daytime and evening classes, and 8 hours for the first class of the day (6:00am weekdays, 8:00am weekends). We really want you to stay committed to your choice to ride with us, so if you miss our cancellation window, you’ll be charged your full class or an $8 cancellation fee for monthly club pass holders. Of course we understand that sometimes major life circumstances happen and we take pride in being understanding and accommodating. If you’d like to discuss a class cancellation with us, we’re all ears.
What’s your refund policy?
Refund requests will be taken care of on a case-by-case basis. If you’d like a refund for any purchase, please come in and we promise we’ll find a solution that works for you.
What’s included with my class fee?
All members receive professional fitness advice, invitations to group community fitness activities and seminars, access to partner discounts, free shoe rentals, towel rental service, filtered water, and change room amenities.
